The general assembly of companies associated with Confindustria Bari and Bat has appointed Francesco Divella as vice president with responsibility for internationalization. The new president is Sergio Fontana. The new associative summits will remain in office for the four-year period 2019-2023. Francesco Divella, 43, from Bari, holds a degree in Economics and is an exponent of the fourth generation of the family of the same name. In F. Divella S.p.A, based in Rutigliano (BA) and founded in 1890, he is marketing manager and is the sales manager of the Group’s Milling Division. The company is associated with Unionfood (Unione Italiana Food – ex Aidepi) and Italmopa (Industrial Association of Millers of Italy) both members of Federalimentare (Italian Federation of the Food Industry) and Confindustria. From 2008 to 2010 he was national president of the Giovani Italmopa Group and during the two-year period 2014-2016 he was the national president of the Federalimentare Young Entrepreneurs. In Confindustria, at central level, he was a member of the Technical Committee for the Protection of Made in Italy and the fight against Counterfeiting and is currently a member of the Technical Tax Group. In Confindustria Bari and BAT he is also vice-president of the Agribusiness Section. “My commitment to this new position – explains Francesco Divella – will be strong and constant for the development of the territory and the associated companies that intend to grow and increase their presence on foreign markets”.
